Flight Fabric is free for Windows and does not require an account. Install it on the simulator PC, then start MSFS 2024.
A transparent note about installation:
Flight Fabric is currently unsigned, so Windows may display an “Unknown publisher” warning.
Download only from the official GitHub release and check the SHA-256 digest GitHub displays beside the installer.
Questions before downloading
Is Flight Fabric really free?
Yes. Flight Fabric is free, open source software licensed under the GNU AGPL v3.
Which simulator does it support?
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 on Windows is the currently supported workflow. MSFS 2020 and X-Plane are not currently supported.
Do I need an account?
No. Voice control, aircraft controls, flight recording, landing reviews, and overlays work without an account.
Can it control the aircraft?
Yes. Flight Fabric includes voice and on-screen controls made for supported aircraft. The controls vary by aircraft, and some aircraft need an additional module.
Does voice control send audio to the cloud?
No. Voice control is off until you enable it. When you hold the talk button, Flight Fabric processes the audio in memory on your PC. It does not save, log, or send your microphone audio over the network.
Why does Windows show an Unknown publisher warning?
The current alpha builds are not code signed. Use only the installer from the official release page and check the SHA-256 digest GitHub displays beside it.
